Hello......

I was very much clear when I wanted to post this blog what I want to write about. Before some days we all celebrated "Friendship Day". It was so enjoyable time. Hope you also enjoyed with your friends. And after some days on 15th Augast it is our "Independence Day". So I want to talk about the mentality of our new generation, including me, and the contrast between these kind of festivals.

Why when it is about Friendship Day the youth is so excited to plan to do something or propose someone and why they are not so excited about our Independence Day. When I was in school, we, students, were so excited on Friendship Day and on Independence Day we were forced to come at school to salute flag. We used to treat Independence Day as a holiday only. Do you think it is common in all the students of schools? I think so.

But at this Independence Day as well as Friendship Day, I am all excited for both. How that happened? Maybe in my schooling I was not mature enough about what this country has given me and what are my responsibilities to it. Listening to great personality about proud of being Indian and many other things, i.e. movies, affected me. Today, it feels great to be an Indian. You know, in schools we used to make fun of friends during national anthem and today it feels like we were disrespecting our country.

Today, things are changed. But I found that everyone are not changed as I changed by the time. I still see people of different age having no interest or excitement for Independence Day. Maybe thay don't know the importance of our independence. the worst thing I found in anyone is the disrespect to his/her country. Shame on them.

So, this was it I wanted to talk about. I felt so sorry for what I have done. And I proud to be an Indian as you are.

"Jai Hind"

Happy Independence Day.
